Privacy Policy

TVChannelsGuide has no accounts or sign-up forms of its own. This page explains what is collected when you visit, by us and by the services the site uses, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Who we are

This policy covers tvchannelsguide.com ("TVChannelsGuide", "we", "us"). For any question about it, or to use the rights described below, write to contact (at) tvchannelsguide.com.

What we collect

When you browse. Like most websites, our server and the services below receive technical information each time a page loads: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page that linked you here, and the time. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure and count visits.

When you write to us. We receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and use them only to reply and to check the correction or request. Mail to our address is forwarded by Cloudflare's email routing service to the mailbox we read.

We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or any account information, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive information.

What stays on your device

Some features remember your choices in your browser's local storage, on your device only. Nothing in it is sent to us:

  • My channels: the channels you star, with the city and provider of each.
  • Your area: the city and provider you save on a channel page.
  • Theme: whether you chose the light or dark look.

You can remove starred channels from the My channels list at any time. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all three.

Analytics

We use these services to understand how many people visit, which pages they use and where the site can work better. They set cookies or similar identifiers and collect the browsing information described above.

Grow and advertising

Every page loads Grow, a script from Journey by Mediavine that offers reader tools (for example saving or sharing pages). Grow may offer its own sign-in and keeps its own identifiers in your browser. Its practices are described in the Mediavine Privacy Policy.

The site does not show ads at the moment. We intend to show ads served by Journey by Mediavine, and this policy will be updated before they start. Ad services of that kind use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, device and browser identifiers, approximate location, and the ads you see and click, to choose and measure ads.

To limit interest-based ads across websites you can use the NAI opt-out page, the DAA's WebChoices tool or, in Europe and the UK, Your Online Choices. You will still see ads after opting out; they will be less tailored to you.

Hosting and security

Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks and abuse and may set cookies that are strictly necessary for that. Cloudflare and our hosting server keep standard request logs for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

Who receives information

Only the service providers named on this page, for the purposes described, and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information to anyone for money.

Some US state laws treat advertising and analytics cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can limit them with the opt-out pages above, by blocking cookies, or by turning on the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser.

Your choices and rights

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site keeps working; some features, such as My channels, need local storage to remember anything.
  • Use the opt-out tools linked above for analytics and advertising.
  • Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe and the UK, or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, or to complain to your data protection authority. Write to us and we will respond within the time the law allows. Because we hold almost nothing ourselves, requests about analytics or advertising data are often best sent to those services as well.

How long information is kept

Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with them. Server logs are kept for a short time. Analytics and advertising services keep information under their own retention policies, linked above.

Children

TVChannelsGuide is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, or under the higher age some countries set for these purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
